Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Closed Joint-Stock Company and Marine Engineering Bureau of Ukraine agreed to establish a joint venture - the Caspian Marine Engineering Bureau. The agreement was signed by Rauf Aliyev, Chairman of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company and Gennady Yegorov, Director of Marine Engineering Bureau in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The Caspian Marine Engineering Bureau is expected to design and manufacture various ships, deal with technical documentation, upgrade ships, train specialists, as well as carry out scientific and research work.
During the signing ceremony, December 5th, Rauf Aliyev said that the new venture would be the center of modern engineering in the field of maritime transport.
