Georgian singer Tamara "Tako" Gachechiladze is gearing up for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, and will be filming the official video of her entry “Keep the Faith” in the coming days.

The song was written by Tako herself, and will be the 10th Georgian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Georgia made its debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007, and in nine appearances the country has failed to qualify for the Grand Final only twice, in 2012 and 2014. In 2010, Sopho Nizharadze finished in ninth place with “Shine,” providing Georgia with its best placing to date. The following year “nu metal” band Eldrine also finished ninth, with “One More Day.”

The Eurovision Song Contest, now in its 62nd edition, will take place at the International Exhibition Centre in Kiev, Ukraine from May 9-13, following Ukrainian singer Jamala’s victory at the 2016 contest in Stockholm.
