Georgian singer Tamara “Tako” Gachechiladze has released an official video clip of her 2017 Eurovision Song Contest entry “Keep the Faith.” Gachechiladze will represent Georgia at the famous song contest, which will be held at the International Exhibition Centre in Kiev, Ukraine, from May 9-13.

“Keep the Faith” was written by Anri Johadze and Gachechiladze herself, and reminds the world that a person should have faith no matter what happens. The video, filmed by Georgian director Temur Kvirkvelia features people of different nationalities, races, ages and professions.

Gachechiladze, 34, will head to Kiev on April 29 with the rest of the Georgian delegation, where she will hold rehearsals and give interviews with the news media, until May 9 when she will  perform in the first semi-final of the contest. Contestants that clear that hurdle will then have a chance to perform once more in the finals, on May 13.

Georgia made its debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007. In all nine appearances since then, its contestants have failed to qualify for the Grand Final only twice, in 2012 and 2014. In 2010, Sopho Nizharadze finished in ninth place with “Shine,” providing Georgia with its best placing to date. The following year the “nu metal” band Eldrine also finished ninth with its hit “One More Day.”

The Eurovision Song Contest, now in its 62nd edition, will take place in Kiev, Ukraine following Ukrainian singer Jamala’s victory at the 2016 contest in Stockholm.
