Azerbaijan to Host 4th International Caspian Energy Forum in 2017

The 4th International Caspian Energy Forum will be hosted in Baku on April 12, 2017, with support from the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Caspian European Club (Caspian Business Club). The President of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the Caspian European Club, Ilham Aliyev, is expected to attend the event.

The Caspian Energy Forum will focus on all aspects of integration of the Caspian-Black Sea and Baltic region countries into the world energy markets. Azerbaijan’s key role in energy, transport and infrastructure projects, the growing sector of gas upstream, the Southern Corridor projects and the resource potential of the Caspian Sea will be the focus of speakers, delegates and forum participants.

The event will also host the Caspian European Forum to discuss the development of the non-oil industry, including the initiation of innovations in financial, banking, insurance, leasing, telecommunications, tourism, machine engineering, construction and other fields. 

The Forum will bring together heads of government institutions, ministries, committees and agencies in Azerbaijan and across the countries of the Caspian-Black Sea and Baltic regions, representatives of diplomatic missions, international organizations accredited in Azerbaijan as well as executives of large international companies. 

Established in June 2002, the Caspian European Club is the largest and dynamically developing regional organization that brings together over 5,000 member companies and organizations from 50 countries.
