"Made in Azerbaijan," a new and innovative campaign geared to promote Azerbaijani products using "Azexport.az," as a platform for sales in foreign and domestic markets, was announced December 20, 2016. The new program is managed by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
Azexport.az is integrated into the world's most popular electronic trading platforms and makes products available to buyers from around the world. The leading global and local transport and logistics companies are also integrated into Azexport.az and offer fast and secure payment via VISA, Master Card and American Express.
The regularly updated and easy-to-use portal also features an innovative Mobile e-signature service “Asan Imza,” which provides a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to present their products and services in Azerbaijan and abroad.
In a well-attended ceremony, government officials, leaders of the private sector and civil society, the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication in cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan presented the Azexport.az portal. The portal was created by an order "On creation of a unified database of goods produced in Azerbaijan Republic," signed on 21 September 2016 by President Ilham Aliyev.
The participants were informed about capabilities, merits and functionality of the portal, the working principle of a single database of Azerbaijani manufactures, as well as additional opportunities offered by the portal to exporters. The presentation also provided an overview of the national and international payment systems integrated into the portal, transportation and logistics services, real time translation service and the placement opportunities of Azerbaijani products provided on international trading platforms.
